Spaces In The Smile In Aldershot

There are a number of options for missing teeth.  One option is a cosmetic denture.  This is a removable prosthesis that looks just like real teeth and can be used to replace single or mutiple teeth.  Many people would prefer a fixed option so other options maybe a bridge or implants.

A bridge uses teeth on either side of the gap for support.  They are tooth coloured and are extremely life like and strong.  They can be made of metal-ceramic or all-ceramic.  Bridges help to restore the bite as well as look aesthetic in the mouth.

Implants are titanium screws that replace the root of a missing tooth.  A special abutment and crown is then fitted onto the implant to help restore the bite.  The advantage of an implant is that it helps to preserve the surrounding bone and there is no need to prepare the adjacent teeth so your are simply reploacing the tooth that is missing.
