The Last night of the Proms now in its 8th year was held in the Public Gardens in Alton on the 11th July brought together may people from the area and beyond.
The event was opened by Alton town Mayor Cllr Pam Jones. The Alton Concert Orchestra played a number of classic pieces and were also joined by the Alton Choral Society.
The performance was enjoyed by many families who had gathered in the Gardens. A fantastic event, so well done all involved! Looking forward to next years event which will be even bigger I’m sure!
