Farnham dentist and Coronavirus safety at Time Dental

As the leaves turn and fall and clocks go back this weekend, the predicted rise in Covid cases has come. Despite the sharp rise in cases we wanted to let you know that Coronavirus safety at Time Dental is of utmost importance to us. The information given by the governing officials can seem a little confusing which is why we wanted to make it crystal clear about Time Dental and the services we are providing.

The good news is Time Dental is fully open and we are providing ALL services safely. We have put additional measures in place for your safety and ours and this is likely to continue through the winter period. We have carefully assessed the current scientific evidence and have based our operating procedures on them.

A few months ago there had previously been a debate as to whether good ventilation or air filtration machines were the best way to deal with the virus. All the information has now concluded that ventilation is key for safety and there is no scientific evidence to show that air filtration works for the Covid pandemic.

Thats why Time Dental has invested in mechanical ventilation in the treatment rooms as well as the main building. Our units extract air from the rooms and we have units that pump filtered air into the building and treatment rooms.

We are currently spacing out our patients which allows us to carry out additional cleaning measures. All touched surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant wipes and alcohol gel is readily available and used by everyone. Our team have their temperature checked everyday and covid screening questions are asked as part of our normal procedures. Our sterilisation and cross infection procedures are already at their best. This allows us to carry out all our services and keep coronavirus safety at Time Dental a top priority.
